What does the research involve?

In order to learn more about the complexities of events surrounding a student suicide, we are inviting parents, partners and fellow students of those affected by such events to talk to our researchers about their experiences.

We will also interview academics, administrative and other staff at the university who knew the student or were directly involved in responding to the student’s death.

This approach will allow us to learn more, not only about common characteristics, but also about responses that prove helpful or otherwise to those whose lives have been touched by this event.
