Professor Nicky Stanley
University of Central Lancashire
Nicky Stanley has managed a number of research projects on young peoples' mental health. She has published books on students' mental heath needs and mothers' mental health needs. She previously trained and practised as a mental health social worker

Professor Jill Manthorpe
King's College London
Jill Manthorpe is a Professor of Social Work and co-director of the Social Care Workforce Research Unit. She has undertaken research in many areas of health and social care and has extensive experience in the voluntary sector.




Dr Jo Bell
University of Central Lancashire
Jo Bell is a Researcher and Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Development at the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the University of Hull. She has extensive experience of research on sensitive issues with young people and families.




Sharon Mallon
University of Central Lancashire
Sharon Mallon is a researcher based at the department of Social Work at the University of Central Lancashire. She has previously worked with families who have been bereaved by sudden death, including death by suicide. She is currently working towards a PhD.



Dr Susan Hilton
University of Central Lancashire
Susan Hilton is Secretary to the RaPSS Project. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Reading and a Doctorate from the University of Oxford. She has previously worked at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the Business and Information Technology Department.
